Ann is also a singer/songwriter. She studied singing & piano at The Music Academy & the Jazz Studio in Antwerp and took many classes in songwriting, singing, guitar, piano & music production at Morley College and The City Lit in London & The Music Academy of Wilrijk, Mol & Pelt in Belgium. She has been writing her own songs for many years. Her songs contain influences of folk music & new wave. Musicians that inspired her are Patti Smith, Nico, Lhasa de Sela, Lal Waterson, Woven Hand,  Siouxsie & the Banshees, Beth Orton, Lene Lovich, Big Blood, Nick cave, PJ Harvey & Edith Piaf. Ann has performed solo and in bands at several locations in Belgium: Lift voetgangerstunnel, Yao Yao, A Mi Maniera, De Kleine Wereld , Den Hopsack, Het Badhuis, De Schelda'pen, De Rots, Cafe Roodwit, The Bottom Line, Living room concerts, etc... & in the UK: The British Oak, The Amersham Arms, The Hope & Anchor, Living Room concert of Tara Osman, The Railway, etc....
